Hon Akinwale Akinwole, A Senatorial Aspirant in Oyo North Senatorial District under the umbrella of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has urged Nigerians to imbibe the sacrifice and humility of Jesus Christ for peace to reign in the world
He also tasks them to use this easter period to pray for peace and meaningful progress that will change the fortune of the country.
The Ogbomoso-born entrepreneur and philanthropist in a congratulatory message to Christian Nigerians said we need more than prayers to solve this Nation’s problems, we have to be pure in our hearts and ensure a cordial relationship with the people around us.
“With all they did to Jesus, he concluded by saying”, Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing” Luke (23:34). In the same way, we should have a forgiving spirit and accept others as our brothers and sisters.
Wolekanle as he is fondly called maintained that ” It requires a collaborative effort irrespective of religious affiliation, ethnicity or background, we need to come together as a nation and make this nation great by electing responsible leaders that will take us out of the quagmires we found ourselves as a nation ”
Akinwole enjoined them to always pray for our leaders, specifically enjoined them to continually pray for Oyo state Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde, his family and aides as well as political leaders in Oke Ogun Ogbomoso and Oyo state at large.
