Oyo lawmakers not appendage of Ajimobi- Deputy Speaker

Oyo State Deputy Speaker, Hon Abdulwasil Musa has described the insinuation that the legislative arm of government is an appendage of Senator Ajimobi led administration as erroneous.
Musa while speaking at CEOonlive TV in Ibadan said the lawmaker collaborate with the executives arm of government in the interest of peace and hasten development of the state.
According to him “it is erroneous to believe that Oyo state house of assembly is an appendage of the executives arm of government, we have a policy of collaboration and we believe that people of Oyo state can enjoy peace and development.”

 

He maintained that “we constructively engage the executive arm of the government just for the interest of peace and development, at some point we do challenge the audacity of the executives and it’s working”

While asessing Senator Abiola Ajimobi led administration in the state, The Saki born lawmaker said the achievements of the governor has outshine and surpass that of his predecessors.

 

The government inherited problems of security, infrastructures deficiency, and challenges in health, education and other sectors but has been able to take the state off that situation and take the state to another level.
