The Lawmaker representing Oluyole State constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Waheed Akintayo has felicitated the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on his 56th birthday anniversary, saying Governor Makinde is a pathfinder who has been leading the state and its people on a path of prosperity.
Hon. Waheed Akintayo who is the Chairman House Committee on Information, Media, Public Affairs and ICT stated this in a statement he personally issued amd made available to journalists in Ibadan.
Hon. Akintayo stated that Governor Makinde is a man specially ordained to rule Oyo State by God Almighty, stressing that his 56th anniversary thus offered special opportunity for the Oyo State citizens to appreciate God for giving them a humane personality like Governor Makinde to rule the state.
According to the statement, “on behalf of myself, family and the good people of Oluyole State constituency, I rejoice with His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde on the occasion of his 56th birthday today.
Governor Makinde is an exemplary leader and role model for future generations who are aspiring to engage in partisan politics. The feat recorded by his Excellency prompt payment of workers’ salaries and emoluments being enjoyed by the State workforce and infrastructural developments which are some of the attributes that set his administration apart from others in the country.
His Excellency is being celebrated today not because it is his birthday but because he has written his name so positively on the sounds of time for emulation.
It is with our prayer that the Governor will live to celebrate many more years in good health and prosperity as he continues to serve God and humanity.” Hon. Akintayo stated.
Meanwhile the astute lawmaker has equally congratulated the entire Christian faithful in the State especially in Oluyole State constituency on the celebration of this year Christmas, with a call on the citizens to use the festive period to renew their commitment to the progress and development of the state.
In the statement, Hon. Waheed Akintayo extended his warm felicitations to the traditional rulers, community leaders clergymen and the entire residents of Oluyole State constituency and prayed for peace, love and prosperity in individual home.
