 Oyo Govt Honour OYRTMA  As Outstanding Agency Of The Year

The Oyo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde has announced Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) as the outstanding agency for the year 2021.

This was contained in a circular which emanated from the office of the Executive Governor, dated 16th September, 2022, signed by the Permanent Secretary (Cabinet and Special Services), Mrs Olubunmi Oni who doubles as the chairperson, planning committee for the celebration of year 2021 Civil and Public Service Productivity And Merit Award Day.

The event has been scheduled to hold today, Tuesday 20th September, 2022 at the Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi Hall, Opposite University College Hospital main gate, Ibadan, by 10am while all invitees are expected to be seated by 9:30am.

Since the appointment of Mogaji Akin Fagbemi as the Executive Chairman, the agency has experienced tremendous transformation, creation of commands in all local government areas, rapid response unit to emergencies, restoring sanity to major and minor roads, regular control of traffic and many more laudable policies that conform with the Roadmap for Accelerated Development Agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde 2019-2023.

Fagbemi has never done anything contrary to the the vision of his principal since his appointment, rather, he has complimented Makinde’s efforts in all ramifications.
