The  deputy governor of Oyo State, Otunba Moses Adeyemo has rejoiced with the people of the state and Nigerians in general on the occasion of the new year.

In his new year message issued and signed by his Special Assistant on media, Sola Adegoke, the deputy governor thanked the people of the state for their prayers, support and cooperation with the current administration in its efforts to uplift the welfare of the State citizenry to greater height.

Adeyemo said the outgone year was one of peace, stability and tremendous progress in the socioeconomic life of the state.

According to him, “the current Senator Abiola Ajimobi led administration will continue to render selfless service to the people of the state. We will not waver in our repositioning, restoration and transformation agenda a being witnessed in all the key sectors in the state.”

He advised that in the new year, all citizens of Oyo state in particular and Nigerians in general should continually work and pray for the unity of the state and the country as a whole.
