ASP Olusegun Popoola, a personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Police Command, CP. Shina Olukolu psc(+) is dead

Popoola died on Wednesday March 25 during a brief illness at the University College Hospital UCH , Ibadan.

The late Popoola who was enlisted as recruit constable in December 1988 has traveled far and wide in the force in his quest for professionalism and search for knowledge.

The deceased have been closely associated with the Commissioner of Police for close to 30 years.

The CP in a statement signed by the command’s spokesperson SP Fadeyi Olugbenga , the late popoola was a dedicated, loyal, hardworking, respectful and jovial officer who approaches all his assignments with all seriousness it deserves.

Olukolu However express his profound gratitude to the entire government and the good people of Oyo State, Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force at the Force Headquarters and Oyo State Command, the Police Community Relations Committee, (PCRC) Oyo State, PCRC South-West, friends, colleagues and associates from all walks of life who have commiserated/ identified with us at this our period of grief

He also pray for the repose of his gentle soul and for God’s guidance and protection for those of us still alive.
