The deputy Chief Whip of Oyo state House of Assembly Hon.Yusuf Adebisi Oladeni today empower some youths in his Constituency
Hon Oladeni representing Ibadan South-West constituency gave out drier and other tools for hair dressers as well as Showing Machine for fashion designers
The initiative which is in partnership with the Sower Empowerment Foundation (SEF), which is a non-governmental organization trained the beneficiaries on vocations as hair dressers and fashion designers
While presenting the equipment, Hon Yusuf said the programme is in
line with his campaign promises to assist the people to enable them strive with economy of the state.
Adebisi explained that the vocational training programme is not mainly for the some selected youths, but rather, it is for all youths across the state and beyond irrespective political party affiliation, as another set of people will also be empowered
While charging the beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity availed to them, he urged them not to sell the equipments and promised that the programme will be a continuous exercise for the constituency.
The chairman Ibadan West LCDA, Hon.Tajueeden Adigun in his welcome address eulogises Hon Oladeni for deeming it fit to empower the people of his constituency.

He however charged the beneficiaries of the to make good use of the equipments as a means of generating income and urged them to be a good ambassadors of the constituency In any place they might find themselves.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Kazeem Oloya and Folasade Sikiru commended Hon. Adebisi for the opportunity given to them, and promised to make use of the equipments well and be good ambassadors of their families and the people of the constituency.
The duration of the training programme according to the organizers lasted from the period of seven months and one year depending on the vocation.
Other people presented at the programme includes party chieftain at ward level, local government level and State level.
