The Oyo State House of Assembly has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his second term one year anniversary, saying that the Governor has continued to consolidate on his developmental agenda for the State.
The Speaker, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin gave the congratulatory message on Wednesday while addressing the plenary on the second term first anniversary of the Governor.
Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin said Governor Makinde’s first year under Omituntun 2.0 has witnessed continuation of projects across all zones of the State.
The Speaker said the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly is proud of the outstanding leadership quality of the Governor which he noted had culmilated in appreciable transformations in all sectors in the State.
” We are using this medium to congratulate and felicitate with our Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde as he marks his second term first year in office. It has been a success story for the present administration in the last 5years. We are happy that the Governor’s development programs have cut across all sectors. Education, health, infrastructure, economy, sports, agriculture, security among others have continued to receive the attention of the present administration. Our people who voted massively for this administration have not been disappointed ” Oyo Speaker said
He added that as long the Governor continues to embark on people centered policies and programmes, the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly will keep on giving the Governor and his Executive council the much needed legislative support .
