Hon. Sikiru Isiaka Olawale Ikuogbogun, an aspirant for the Saki West State constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, has congratulated former Deputy Governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
The aspirant, a son of former political leader in Saki, Late Alhaji Sikiru Ikuogbogun, described Adeyemo’s victory as the collective wish of Oyo APC leaders and members.
Adeyemo, who served as Deputy Governor under late Abiola Ajimobi, emerged APC Chairman on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Wednesday, Hon. Ikuogbogun praised Adeyemo as a unifier and worthy leader capable of leading Oyo APC to victory in the 2027 polls.
Ikuogbogun attributed Adeyemo’s success to divine grace, stating that his emergence was divinely ordained and widely accepted by the majority of APC members in the state.
The APC State House of Assembly hopeful maintained that
Adeyemo’s leadership qualities will bring stability and unity to the party.
He explained that the new Chairman will leverage his experience as a former Deputy Governor to strengthen party structure across the state.
He added that Adeyemo’s commitment to public service over the years and his ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds make him an ideal leader for Oyo APC.
Hon. Ikuogbogun urged all Oyo APC members to join hands with the new Chairman in the bid to move the party forward.
