Oyo 2027: PROTAAN Declares Support for Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s Gubernatorial Ambition

In a show of unwavering support, the Progressive Tradesmen and Artisans Association of Nigeria (PROTAAN), Oyo State chapter, has declared their endorsement of Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s gubernatorial ambition for the 2027 Oyo State elections.

The event, which drew over 10,000 artisans, was held at the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort and led by Mogaji Salaudeen Kamaldeen, the chairman of PROTAAN, Oyo State chapter.

Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, the Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland and Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, warmly welcomed the PROTAAN members and other solidarity groups who gathered to pledge their support. Among the groups present were representatives from the National Association of Music Promoters and Artist Managers, as well as various JDS Solidarity Groups, all rallying behind Chief Sanusi’s vision for a progressive Oyo State.

The event was marked by electrifying energy and unity, with the artisans expressing their confidence in Chief Sanusi’s leadership and his dedication to the welfare of the people. Mogaji Salaudeen Kamaldeen, speaking on behalf of the artisans, praised Chief Sanusi’s long-standing commitment to empowering tradesmen and artisans across the state. He emphasized that the endorsement was not just a political move but a recognition of Chief Sanusi’s unwavering service to humanity.

“We believe in his vision, and we know that under his leadership, Oyo State will witness unprecedented progress,” Mogaji Kamaldeen said. “Our support for him is solid, and we will stand by him every step of the way.”

In his response, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi expressed his gratitude to PROTAAN and all the solidarity groups for their trust and confidence in his leadership. He reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that Oyo State becomes a beacon of development and prosperity, with a particular focus on improving the lives of artisans and tradesmen who play a critical role in the state’s economy.

“This overwhelming support strengthens my resolve to serve the people of Oyo State,” Chief Sanusi said. “Together, we will work towards building a future that is prosperous, inclusive, and full of opportunities for all.”

The event concluded with a display of solidarity and optimism, as the various groups vowed to continue supporting Chief Sanusi’s gubernatorial ambition, confident that his leadership would bring about the positive transformation that Oyo State needs.

This monumental gathering further solidifies Chief Sanusi’s position as a leading contender in the 2027 gubernatorial race, with PROTAAN and other groups backing his vision for a better and more prosperous Oyo State.
