
The Ogbomoso Youth in North America (OYNA) has officially opened its Liaison Office in Ogbomoso and complemented the milestone with cash donations and other support items to strengthen community development and youth engagement.

The Liaison Office located at Starlight area was unveiled by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi, in a ceremony that drew members of the organisation, community leaders, stakeholders and well-wishers.
The monarch commended the initiatives and urged them not to relent In their commitment to develop their hometown and support the less privileged.

The event marked a significant step in deepening collaboration between Ogbomoso youths in the diaspora and their home community.
Speaking at the occasion, The President of the Association Dr. Kunle Adegbite, described the opening of the office as a product of unity, vision and unwavering commitment by members of the organisation across North America.
According to him, the Liaison Office is more than a physical structure, as it is designed to serve as a hub for coordination, transparency, service delivery and sustained engagement aimed at advancing the socio-economic development of Ogbomoso and its people.
Dr. Adegbite expressed deep appreciation to OYNA members for their financial, moral, physical and strategic contributions, noting that the collective sacrifices and dedication of members made the project a reality.
He also conveyed the organisation’s gratitude to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi, for the honour of unveiling the office and for his continued guidance and royal support, which he said have remained vital to the group’s growth and impact.
“This Liaison Office will serve as a centre for unity, progress and impactful service to our community. Together, we will continue to build, serve and uplift,” Dr. Adegbite stated.
Stakeholders at the event described the unveiling of the office and the accompanying donations as a strong foundation for future initiatives and deeper collaboration between Ogbomoso youths at home and in the diaspora, expressing optimism about the positive impact of OYNA’s interventions in the community.
