Following the gruesome killings of over thirty worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo by suspected Fulani terrorists, a Yoruba cultural group known as Olofin Adimula Cultural and Traditional Foundation (ACATF), has urged Olowo of Owo Kingdom, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye to direct traditionalists to invoke the Gods of the land against the attackers.

The Group in a press signed by its President and Secretary, Alhaji Raheem Sabana and Comrade Akinpelu Adesina, expressed sadness and condemned the dastardly action of the suspected Fulani terrorists, saying that the action was a complete affront on not only Owo people but the entire Yoruba people.

“This is an affront on not only Owo people but to the entire Yoruba people. We are using this medium to appeal to Olowo of Owo Kingdom to place a curse on the killers and also direct traditionalists in the town to invoke the deities of the land against the killers.”

The statement added that the Owo massacre of innocent people by suspected Fulani terrorists has indicated that nowhere is safe in the South-West again .
