Osun 2026: Massive Defection Boosts APGA as Chairman Adedoyin Receives Thousands

Ahead of next year’s governorship election in Osun State, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) chairman in Osun State, Wole Adedoyin has received thousands of decampees into the party.

Those defected include members of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressive Congress (APC), and African Democratic Congress (ADC) among others.

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State was said to be warming up to joined APGA in the state, following series of crisis currently rocking PDP which may affect his re-election bid

Other prominent APGA leaders in South West who joined Adedoyin to received the decampees include Deacon Samson Olalere, APGA BOT member, Chief Suraj Owolabi, National Vice Chairman South West, Alhaji Lasisi, Bot Member, Hon. Gbenga Adeniyi, APGA Oyo state chairman.

Others are: Ex- APGA governorship candidate in Oyo State, Adeshina Adewale (EXCEL), and Gbola Salami, Oyo state APGA Secretary among others.

Adedoyin said APGA remained a party to beat, adding that the party is the solution to Nigeria’s problem.

He however urged Nigerians to shunned APC, PDP, ADC and others and support APGA, saying the party is the only party that can take the nation to promise land.

Meanwhile, some of the decampees said they were pleased to join APGA, saying they left their former parties because they failed to alleviate suffering of the masses.
