The former deputy governor stressed that the rumour of his purported withdrawal from the 2018 governorship election was part of the series of wicked lies already packaged by his political antagonists and enemies of Osun state to confused the people of Osun state about the coming governorship poll.

“This is to state emphatically that I, Senator Iyiola Omisore is still in the race for the governorship election in our dear Osun state scheduled to hold on September, 22, this year. My ambition to contest the governorship election remains intact and unshaking by the  Special grace of God. I am saying here that I have not and will not shy away from my determination to liberate the people of Osun state by serving them as the next governor of Osun state” he said.

Senator Omisore while describing the rumour of his withdrawal from the governorship race as figment of the imagination of some day dreaming and desperate  politicians asked his teeming supporters in and across Osun state to disregard the rumour of his withdrawal and continue to work and pray for his victory  in  the September governorship poll in the state.

“Let me assure  the good people of Osun state, that there will be no going back in my ambition to contest the September, 22, 2018 governorship election in Osun state. By the special of God,  my victory in the September 22 election is certain and already ordained by God. Enough of display of all these desperate antics of  telling/spreading of falsehood all in the name of achieving cheap political points. It is glaring that my political detractors have again failed with this recent wicked lie.”

Senator Omisore however urged the people of Osun state and his supporters to continue to be law abiding, peace loving and at all times pray for a free, fair and peaceful governorship election in the state come  September 22 this year as every indications pointed at the fact that God willing, both the PDP and APC shall be struggling for distant 2nd position come  September 22 2018,”

“With God on our side especially on the September 22, governorship election in Osun, our victory is certain. This project is not of man but of God, I am again appealing to my teeming supporters in and across Osun state and beyond to be steadfast, focused and committed to salvaging our dear state by joining hands with me in restoring the lost glory of our dear state. For me, I am ready and there is no going back in my governorship ambition and we shall triumph.
