OPU Saopaulo Brazil celebrate Children’s day for the Yoruba Children’s in Brazil

As part of effort to promote yoruba culture and traditions in the diaspora, the Oodua Progressives Union OPU in

Sao- Paulo Brazil, on 16th October organized a socio-cultural event show to mark this year children’s day.Is

The event held at Rua Anhanguera 559,Barra Funda ,Sao- Paulo Brazil
had in attendance the Oba Ogboni ,members of the Nigeria ladies star of Brazil, prominent members of Ooduduwa Progressive Union scores of children from different towns and city in Brazil among others

Ambassador Ogunlowo Abiola Coker OPU South American Coordinator while welcoming guest to the event said the childrens day celebration is to work in line with constitution of the organization to promote the Yoruba culture and to train and encourage all our Diaspora children in Yoruba speaking language and their unity as one big family.

The guest speaker, Kabiesi Oba Ogboni Iwase, Chief Aderonmu Adekunle, commends, OPU South America, Brazil chapter for the initiative to bring all the Yoruba children’s together to celebrate the childrens day and encourage all the children to embrace Yoruba Language more than any other language.

The event was well handle by the OPU South America Secretary Comrade Babatunde Salami and the Sao-Paulo chapter OPU Organising Secretary Comrade Titilope Fadeyi.

Comrade Ayodele Rasheed,popularly called Rasheed Ibadan the Deputy coordinator of the chapter thanks all sponsors of the event, including Three A’s MultiBiz, Hyper1 community Enterprises, Plan-B Consults,Tifad store, Marickcol Limited,Africano cultural centre for standing by them
