President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,

I am writing to you today to express my deep concern about the state of the roads in Ogbomoso, Oyo, and the Ibadan-Ilorin expressway. The sorry state of these roads has been a source of immense hardship for the people, leading to loss of lives and an impediment to economic activities.

As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “The time is always right to do what is right.” It is imperative that urgent action is taken to address the deplorable condition of these roads that are vital to the livelihood and safety of the people.

The Ogbomoso – Oyo road and the Ibadan – Ilorin road are not just mere stretches of concrete and asphalt; they are lifelines that connect communities, facilitate commerce, and ensure the well-being of our citizens. The persistent neglect of these critical infrastructures has resulted in untold suffering and loss.

President Tinubu, it is time to heed the words of Nelson Mandela who said, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.”

This is a rallying cry for you to take decisive action to complete these projects and alleviate the suffering of the people. Lives are being lost, and economic activities are being stifled due to the incomplete state of these roads.

The Ogbomoso – Oyo road and the Ibadan – Ilorin road cannot remain as symbols of unfulfilled promises and neglect. As a leader, it is your duty to ensure the safety and well-being of the people you serve.

I implore you to expedite the completion of these roads as a matter of utmost priority. The impact of these actions will be immeasurable, bringing relief to the people and fostering economic growth and prosperity.

Mr. President Tinubu, the time to act is now. The people are counting on your leadership and commitment to bring about positive change. As we work towards this common goal, we must remember the words of John F. Kennedy, “One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.”
