Dear Governor Seyi Makinde,

I am writing to you on behalf of the concerned residents and commuters of the Apete – Akufo road in Oyo State. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the efforts you have made so far in improving the condition of this road. The work done has significantly enhanced vehicular movement and business activities in the area, which we truly appreciate.

However, we have observed that the improved smoothness of the road is now causing a concerning increase in reckless driving and accidents, some of which have been fatal, resulting in the loss of lives. We, therefore, humbly urge you to urgently consider the installation of speed breakers at strategic locations along the Apete – Akufo road to help curb this issue.

The implementation of these speed breakers will play a crucial role in reducing the risk of accidents and ensuring the safety of all road users, both drivers and pedestrians alike. This measure would help to maintain a balance between the improved road conditions and responsible driving behavior, ultimately preserving the lives of those who traverse this route.

We are deeply grateful for your continued commitment to the development and well-being of our community. We believe that the addition of speed breakers on the Apete – Akufo road will further enhance the positive impact of your efforts and contribute to the overall safety and well-being of our residents.
