Oore of Otun Ekiti Unveils Tourism Potentials in Mobaland

The Adimula Moba, Oore of Otun Ekiti, Oba Adekunle Adebayo Adeagbo, has profiled Mobaland for national and international patronage, exposing business opportunities in the ancient town.

Among other business opportunities in Mobaland, Oba Adeagbo disclosed that the ancient town is a paragon of tourism potentialities.

Oba Adeagbo disclosed this while inaugurating Mr Rotimi Awelewa as his Public Relations/Business Consultant in his palace on Thursday.

Discussing some of the tourism assets in the Mobaland, Oba Adeagbo said: “There is an age-long One Day Market with the patronage of over 1million people which is over 500years and still being operated in Otun Town.”

The Otun Ekiti town stool is noted in Yorubaland as Oloore Oduduwa and as the most vibrant that helped to secure the invasion of Fulani’s into Yoruba due to their closeness to Kwara.

The Oore of Otun Ekiti also was prominent at stopping the invasion of Ibadan of Ekiti and Ijesaland during the Ekitiparapo war.

Otun Ekiti is friendly and home to all which is noticed by different races living in Otun Ekiti and Mobaland.
