The Arole Oodua Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife today held a closed door meeting with Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti state and both parties of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers
The Co-Chairman, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria(NCTRN) had earlier held a meeting with meeting with the 11 aggrieved Ekiti first class Obas at the Palace of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti
This is in a bid to amicably resolve the crisis between Governor and the aggrieved 11 Pelupelu Obas over the appointment of Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti as Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers.
After leading the traditional rulers into the meeting room at the governor’s office, Dr Fayemi however pleaded with the pressmen leave the room for the meeting was a private one, assuring them of subsequent detailed briefings.
“Gentlemen of the press, please, you may need to excuse us from this meeting for now as this is a private meeting with my own fathers, and let’s just respect their privacy.
