One person has been reported dead, while several others sustained injuries after a truck loaded with granite rammed into street traders at Eleyele Roundabout in Ibadan.

The incident, which occurred in the morning, primarily affected traders operating along the street.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Oyo Command, Mayowa Odewo, attributed the crash to brake failure.

He added that the injured victims have been taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
