The Chairman-elect in Ona Ara local government area of Oyo State, Dr. Kolapo Temitope Glorious on Wednesday officially inaugurated electric bus procured by the Chairman of Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Oloye Jubril Dotun Sanusi.
The occasion was marked by celebrations of Dr Temitope’s victory at the polls and the unveiling of Oyo State’s first electric bus, a groundbreaking initiative driven by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s visionary leadership and commitment to innovation.
In a statement released by his media team and duly signed by him, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi expressed profound gratitude to the attendees for their unwavering support. During the event, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi while addressing the audience highlighted the electric bus project’s significance in addressing the transportation needs of the Ona Ara People.
He also outlined plans to introduce electric tricycles and bikes in the coming weeks, underscoring his dedication to modernizing transportation infrastructure and fostering sustainable mobility solutions within the region.
In a gesture of appreciation, Chief Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji OTOPE, Director-General of Oyo State Liaison office, expressed gratitude to Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi for his unwavering support before, during, and after the local government elections in Egbeda and Ona Ara Federal constituency.
