The Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Olushola Alao and his wife Olori Olusola Alao have expressed his heartfelt condolence to Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi following the sudden demise of her daughter, Mrs Abisola Daisi.
The loss has sent shockwaves through the prominent Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families.
In a statement released earlier today, Oba Alao and his Olori lamented, “The sad news is distressing, coming just five years after the passage of the patriarch of the family, the immediate former Governor of Oyo State, Chief Abiola Ajimobi. We also commiserate with her husband, Chief Kolapo Kola-Daisi and their children as well as Chief Kola-Daisi and the entire Kola-Daisi family over this unfortunate incident.”
He noted that the sudden loss has plunged friends, relations, and well-wishers into deep sorrow. “This sudden demise forced sorrow down the heart of friends, relations and well-wishers of the beautiful Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families,” he added.
Oba Alao praised the late Abisola’s radiant spirit, recalling how her smiles lit the world of those around her and her graceful carriage of the family’s nobility and beauty. “She gave love, kindness and lived a peaceful life,” he observed.
The Olugbon prayed for divine comfort for Chief Mrs Ajimobi, her children, and all family members during this trying period. “I pray to God to comfort Chief Mrs Ajimobi, her children and family members at this difficult time. I also pray for the Kola-Daisi that the Almighty Allah will strengthen them at this trying period and may He give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” he stated.
Oba Alao concluded his message by urging the family to seek solace in the cherished memories of the good life Abisola lived. “Though she did not live long as desired, we urge the family to seek solace in the good life that she lived, remembering that a short and impactful life is valuable. May Allah grant Bisola’s soul aljanna fidraous.”
