Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala son of the former governor of Oyo state Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala has  was the All Progressives Congresss APC ticket for Ogbomoso North, South and Oriire Federal Constituency

Pannigeria.com report that he was elected by all the 150 accredited delegates as the candidate

Olamijuwonlo, a former chairman of Ogbomoso North local government area, polled all the 150 votes to clinch the ticket of the APC.

Declaring the result of the election at the designated venue, Aina Guest House, Oke-Aanu area of Ogbomoso, the returning officer, Mr Taiwo Richard Oluseyi, said, “The total number of accredited delegates for the exercise is 150. The was no void vote.

“Two candidates, Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala and Feyintola Onabanjo, contested here. At the end of the election, Onabanjo scored nil.

“Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, having satisfied the requirement of scoring the highest number of votes, and scoring 150 out of the overall 150 votes, is hereby returned elected.”

Before, during and after the exercise, there were echos and repitition of the Alao-Akala.

Speaking with newsmen after his victory, Olamijuwonlo, who harped on the qualities of Akala and unity among party’s tendecies.

He said, “Winning the primary is not the joy of the day. The joy of the day is the unity in the party; that is, coming together to share a common goal.”
