The 2021 edition of Hon Segun Odebunmi Chairman House of Reps Committee on Information National Orientation Ethics and Values who is also member house of Reps representing Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency (Bunvic annual football competition) final held in Óko, Ogbomoso Oyo state.
Coach ,Kayode Adebayo( Rogamila), who is the organizer told journalists that over 50 teams participated in the game and 6 teams got to the finals with 2 each from three zones.
The fist position, Surulere zone match was between Òkò utd and Iresaapa FC which ended 2 to 1 in Favour of the Òkò united, the hosting town.
While the second Position (from the neighboring constituency) was between Masifa FC and FC Zenith which ended 2 to nil in Favour of Masifa FC.
The third positions match was between Jumbo FC from Surulere zone, and Abimbola FC from Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ zone.
Speaking with journalist, Hon Odebunmi said the football competition is organized annually to further cement relationship among the youths in Ogbomoso and showcase their talent.
He maintained that “I have been sponsoring sporting competition for over 10 years and since we started many of players we discovered are already playing professional football league, I am also a player myself and I love sport so much”
The event which had in attendance dignitaries, and royal personalities like The Olóko of Óko who was represented by one of his chiefs, Hon. Adesina Adedokun, Special Assistant to Hon Odebunmi ,Mr Al-Maruf’ Yinka Ajibolu ,Hon. Segun Amole Segzy, Hon. Kojo Oyelaran among others
