International Journalist and former Editor of Guardian Newspaper, Mr Debo Adesina on saturday laments the slow phase of infrastructure and socio economic development of Oke Ogun region of Oyo state saying that the region deserve a better place in the government for rapid change of status
Adesina, a gubernatorial aspirant in All Progressives Congress APC in a chat with our reporter in his Okaka country home in Okaka said the resources available in the region if properly harness is enough to sustain the whole state decades
” The resources in Oke Ogun is more than what is in some country, the region is big enough to be a country and not a state
“ Oke Ogun is bless with natural and human resources but we are not enjoying it, we need more than a commissioner or Senator to develop this region and that is why some of us are eyeing to occupy number one position in the state and other federal position so that we can change the fortune of our people “
He said further, that he already has a development plan to transform Oyo state and the region , and assure full implementation if privileged to rule the state”
