In appreciation of his philanthropic gesture and humanitarian services towards the development of Oke-‘Badan High School, Oluyoro, Oke-Offa, the Management of the school has bestowed an Award of Excellence on the Honourable member representing Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, at the House of Representatives Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina.

The Award of Excellence was conferred on the Distinguished Honourable during the Annual Inter-House Sports festival of the School which took place at the school’s playing ground, Oluyoro Oke offa,Ibadan on Thursday 15th February, 2018.

While presenting his welcome address, the Principal of the  school, Mr. Adeyoola Olaitan  commended the efforts of Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina for deeming it fit to personally spearhead the construction of the school football pitch in order to give the school a new look.

Oyo State Commissioner of Education, Professor Adeniyi Olowofela, who was represented at the event and the Chairman, Oke-‘Badan High School Governing Board,in their goodwill messages praised OmoOloore for his contribution towards the development of education and sports in Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency and Oyo State in general.

Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina has been contributing his quota to the development of education and sports in his constituency through various developmental schemes and projects he has initiated.

Among such are, the Omo Oloore Educational Support Scheme aimed at assisting students in his constituency irrespective of their race, religion or status in the pursuit of their academics and Omo Oloore Sports Development Scheme to engage youths who havechosen sports  as a career.

In order to ensure that Oke-‘Badan High School have a standard mini-stadium, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina  single-handedly began the reconstruction of the School football pitch with a view to attracting sporting competitions and produce budding talents for Oyo State in particular, and Nigeria in general.

The on-going project has attracted commendations from prominent members of the society.

Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, therefore, used the opportunity to restate his commitment to contribute his best towards the development of education, sports and general well-being of the entire people of his constituency.

In attendance at the event were the Caretaker Chairman, Ibadan North Local Government, Mr. Jonathan Ogundiwin, L.I.E. Ibadan North East, Retired Justice G. O. Shoremi, ANCOPSS Chairman, Ibadan North East, Mr. Tope Onipede and many others.
