Born in Iseyin, the 22 years old dancer and Esa Egungun crooner has performed both at local and international events with many trophies to her side
In an interaction with our reporter recently, Ojediwura whose stage name is Apeke Oje said the first step she took as baby was a dancing step ‘ my mummy was worried about my inability to walk at the time I was suppose to walk as a child, but my father an experienced chanter did not allow it to bother him as he knew that I will walk at an appropriate time so one day while they were celebrating Egungun I stood up from the crawling and was dancing to the beat “
Surprisingly people were around watching and that encourages me more to continue trying until I was stable and since that I have been dancing and when I was a bit older I started the chant”.
Having realized her talent at a very tender age, she developed interest in it and pursue it as a carier, the decision which buoyed her to enrolled at Music Department of The Polytechnic Ibadan for National Diploma in Music
” At a point i was following my brother to events and i do perform with male counterpart but you know no matter how perfect you are education is important, so after my secondary school i decided to enroll for National Dipolma in Music at the Polythecnic Ibadan, i will still return for my HND and later go for some professional courses that will enhance my carier
