The Chairman of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority Board, Hon. Segun Dokun Odebunmi, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at his Bodija residence in Ibadan.
Hon. Odebunmi, who represented Surulere/Ogo Oluwa Federal Constituency in the 7th, 8th, and 9th National Assembly, also served as Chairman of the House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values.
The former lawmaker who also holds the traditional title of Okanlomo of Ogbomosoland was accompanied by the Aremo Oranmiyan of Oko Kingdom, Hon. Adesina Adedokun; ;Apc State officer Hon Sunday Adewale, Hon Oladunni Samson former vice chairman Ogo Oluwa local Government and Hon Prince Olaniyan Badmus former NBC board member.
Speaking during the visit, Odebunmi recalled that Oba Ladoja was the first political leader to recognize his leadership potential, appointing him as Chairman of Surulere Local Government at the age of 33.
He described the Olubadan-designate as a father figure who embodies rich Yoruba traditional values and humanity.
While praying for a peaceful reign, good health, and prosperity for Oba Ladoja, Bunvic as he is foundly called expressed confidence that his leadership would further strengthen unity and progress across Ibadanland and Oyo State.
