Ogbomoso Youth Group Laud Makinde, Operation Burst Over Quick Response to Banditry Rumours in Ogo-Oluwa

The Ogbomoso Community Youth Forum (OCYF) have commended Oyo state governor Engineer Oluseyi Makinde and the leadership of Operation Burst for their quick response to the distress call on alarm raised that bandits have invaded some communities in the zone

The youth group said operation burst team led by Major Ganiu Alabi Banire, the Operation Officer was clinical in the operation, and deserves accolades

In a statement signed by the president Rev Olawuyi Olaleye and secretary Com. Adeniji Idowu OCYF said ” We feels obligated to write this letter of appreciation to Your Excellency over your rapid response in deploying Operation Burst operatives to Ogbomoso area recently at the breaking of the rumours of bandits at Ayegun Yemetu village in Ogo-Oluwa local government area of the state”

“OCYF, a youth group in Ogbomoso, appreciates your efforts in ensuring security of life and property, you just demonstrated to the world once again how governance should be and how a responsible and responsive leader should act in time of emergencies.”

The letter reads further ” Your Excellency has invested so much on security matters and have a capable commander in Col. Oladipup to lead the security unit, that is why you could muster at the speed of light such formidable team in motivation, number and firepower, to respond to such emergency”

” To this end, we are suggesting that proper investigation be done on the actual mission of the helicopter, which has not stopped flying over the Ogbomoso area, whether it’s truly on mineral exploration activities or not.”

“Also, we appeal to Your Excellency sir, to encourage security agencies to continue to monitor the situation so that we will not be caught unawares. ”

Whil promising to avail the government of adequate information on the matter, OCYF maintained that the citizens can be enlightened and erase their unabated panic.

“We hope it will not be a bad idea if our people can be well informed about things like this ahead of time in the future.

” Your Excellency, we are grateful for your special interest in our zone, may God help you to end well!”
