Ogbomoso Recreation Club (ORC) on Saturday 6th January hosted Hon.Segun Dokun Odebunmi in celebration of his 55th birthday.
Odebunmi popularly called BUNVIC is a notable politician in Ogbomoso who represented Suruler/Ogo Oluwa Federal constituency at the National Assembly for three consecutive terms.
The Okanlomo of Ogbomosoland was 55 on Thursday 4th January was celebrated by friends, fans and political associates who shower encomium on him for his genuine passion to serve God and humanity and his contributions to the advancement of his constituency, Ogbomoso and Nigeria at large.
On Saturday, the Ogbomoso Recreation Club hosted him to a party after a golf session at the golf course in the morning.
Odebunmi, a golfer, tee off the ball at a competition organized in his honour in the morning and later in the evening organized a warm reception in his honour.
Some members of the Ogbomoso Recreation Club in their remark said Hon Odebunmi’s humility and charisma distinguished him from other politicians, he was praised for his contributions to Ogbomosoland through employment, infrastructural development and others when he was at the National Assembly.
Hon Odebunmi in his remark, appreciated the leadership and members of Ogbomoso Recreation Club for celebrating him on his 55th birthday and promised to continue to be a good ambassador of the club and Ogbomosoland.
