Hon Ibrahim Ajagbe, caretaker Chairman Ogbomoso North local government today embark on a tour of communities in local government to interacts and ascertain the need of the people in the area.
Alagbe who was accompanied by carrier officers visited Sawmill, Randa Area, Oja Titun and Aje Ikose where he was received by community leaders who briefed him on their need
At Sawmill, they demanded completion of the road and construction of bridge as well as public toilet. Also in Ojatitun the butchers requested for dressing room and a public toilet as well as seek for support in evacuating the cow dung which the chairman promised to do as soon as possible.
Part of the request of the residents of Aaje Ikose includes tarring of their roads and opening up of roads in new areas, revamping of the council pilgrim farm and others for economic development of the local government
Alagbe while briefing newsmen after the tour said, the decision to embark on the tour is to see for himself and hear from people so that it would help in planning for the development
He said, Governor Makinde’s vision is to take development to the grassroot and we are his eyes and ears at the grassroots we must do everything humanly possible to deliver dividends of democracy to the people at the grass root and make them happy
“ Now that we have seen and hear what our people wanted, we are going to make use of resources available to respond to their request and make them happy, we will not betray
