Ogbomoso Community Foundation Holds 3rd Memorial Lecture for Late Police IG, Asiwaju Sunday Adewusi

Ogbomoso Community Foundation OCF is organizing  Third Memorial Lecture in honour of the late Inspector General of Police and Asiwaju of Ogbomosoland, Late Chief Sunday Adedayo Adewusi, GCON, IGP (rtd), NPM, will hold on June 10th

Chief Sunday Adebayo Adewusi, the Late OCF Leader and Asiwaju of Ogbomosoland served as Inspector General of police between 1981 and 1983 died on 26th of January 2016 at the age of 79.

The Lecture scheduled to hold on 10th June, 2023 at the Ogbomoso Recreation club is entitled, “Towards Development In Ogbomoso Land, the Imperative for Peace”

The Executive Secretary, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria -TRCN) Professor Josiah Olusegun Ajiboye is the Guest Lecturer

Dr Tayo Alayande, Chairman Planning Committee  in a statement said ” The immense contributions, zeal, patriotism and selfless service of the late Leader both to the community and the nation at large cannot be easily forgotten, hence, the Third Memorial Lecture being organized by the Ogbomoso Community Foundation (OCF), of which the Late Asiwaju was a staunch foundation member and Leader before his demise.”

Engr. Muftau Open Salawu, Fnse. (Babalaje of Ogbomosoland  is the Chairman of the occasion while Dr Samson Adegoke ( Maigida) is the Special Guest of Honour. And Maj Gen (Dr.) Oladayo Popoola (rtd) mni,psc,, OON, Leader of Ogbomoso Community Foundation is the Chief Host.
