Ogbomoso central LCDA Political Head/Administrator Hon Aremu Adijat Omotayo has reeled out her achievements since inception as the political head.
Rainbow as she is foundly called has attributed the success recorded by his team to resilience and her clearly-defined visions which is to restore the hope of the people at the grassroots through good governance.
Enumerating her achievements since elected, Aremu said ” We have Embarked on infrastructural and developmental projects and provision of basic amenities. ”
“We grades some roads including Ile Ewe junction to Aaduin, Aaduin,Hamamah Road, iyana Ogojo Area, Alfa Tedo Area, Alternative field for Stadium Olukan street at Aaduin Area,and some other places within the LCDA
” To ease movement we have reconstructed culvert and
drainage at jagun community along Laka,ijeru Road, bridge culvet in ikuye Area and culvet in Aguodo.
“We have also reconstruct and repairs boreholes, disburses cash, distribute cloths and some other souvenirs to hundreds party members.
She added ‘ Apart connecting some community to national grid, we also fix solar light in about 10 communities including :Onire Community Along Iresa Apa Road, Sawmill ile Ewe,Saja isale ora ward ,Maternity and Anglican church Alaasa ,Arije street Abogunde, Bolanta masifa along divine K to old odua street,Osupa Elemu to Osupa Eleko street, Dr Saka Balogun street and others.
“Water scarcity is one of the challenges of our community and in a bid to alleviate their suffering especially during the dry season, we have reconstructed and rehabilitated of bohelores in Aaje Ogunbado Oke Agbede ward, Balogun compound isale Afon and other places, we also have plans do more”
“On education and health, we are collaborating with the appropriate government and private agencies to fix and equip primary health care centres and reconstruction of collapsed school buildings and construction of new ones”
We place premium on Youth and Sport development and that is why we have intitiated ideas and different programs for the youth,i sponsored 1st Chairman’s cup among our youths in Ogbomoso LCDA, winners were presented with cash and other items and this competition will continue because it is an avenue to discover and develop talents”
“We also embarked on campaign and hold sensitization lecture on Anti cultism for secondary school students within the LCDA”.
“So far we have been able to change the narratives in Ogbomoso Central and we hope to do more for our people because they deserved the best, i am only appealing to the entire people of Oyo state to vote for Governor Makinde’s re- election and all the PDP candidates across the state”
“I am optimistic that PDP victory in 2023 election is not negotiable and by the Grace of God we shall ensure that our people enjoy more dividends of democracy”.
Alhaja Aremu who expressed profound gratitude to God almighty for the grace to be the political head in Ogbomoso central LCDA and governor Makinde for creating enabling environment for local government administration to thrive said her constituents also deserve to be applauded for their supports.
