Ogbomoso Ajilete Group, a socio-cultural organization of Ogbomoso Indigenes in Ibadan will hold its 2018 edition of Gbegiri Day on Sunday 26th, August 2018.
The event is scheduled to commence at 2pm at NMA House, Total Garden/NTA Road. Yemetu Ibadan
According to a press release signed by the President, Dr Ayantayo Alayande, the Chairman of the occassion is General Oladayo Popoola while Speaker Oyo state House of Assembly , Hon Joshua Olagunju Ojo is the guest lecturer.
Dignitaries expected at the occasion includes Senator Dr. Abdulfatai Buhari, Senator Ayo Adeseun, Dr Akin Onigbinde (SAN,) Dr Saka Balogun , members of Oyo state House of Assembly among others.
Also, spouses, children of members of the organization and their friends are also expected to be at the event.
Dr Alayande said the event is organized annually to foster unity among Ogbomoso indigenes in Ibadan and further promote the indigenous food which is Amala and Gbegiri.
