The O’First Group has joined numerous voices in mourning the passing of Hon. Justice Afolabi Adeniran (CJ OS, rtd), President of Ogbomoso Parapo Worldwide, describing him as a pillar of the Ogbomoso community and a beacon of hope whose legacy will continue to inspire generations.

In a statement signed by its President, Arc. Sakiru Akinola Suara, the group expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the respected jurist and statesman, highlighting his lifelong dedication to justice, unity, and the development of Ogbomosoland.

“Justice Afolabi Adeniran was more than just a community leader. He was a guiding light, a source of wisdom, and a true inspiration to many. His contributions to our community will never be forgotten,” Suara said.

Arc. Suara recalled a memorable and personal interaction with the late Justice, noting that he once received a heartfelt call from him in which he expressed gratitude and offered words of encouragement regarding Suara’s efforts toward the progress of Ogbomoso.

“His words of appreciation and motivation meant a lot to me. That singular act speaks volumes about his character and his passion for encouraging others to serve,” he added.

Justice Adeniran, a former Chief Judge of Oyo State and revered community elder, passed away recently after a brief illness. Until his death, he served as President of Ogbomoso Parapo Worldwide, the umbrella body for all socio-cultural associations in Ogbomosoland.

The O’First Group extended its heartfelt condolences to his family, the leadership of Ogbomoso Parapo, and the entire people of Ogbomosoland, urging everyone to uphold the values he stood for.

“May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy live on through our continued commitment to the ideals he championed,” the statement concluded.

Justice Adeniran’s passing marks the end of an era, but his life and service continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched.
