The Ogbomoso First Community Initiatives (O’ First Group), has joined well wishers in the society to felicitate and also congratulates His Royal Majesty, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran, Lagbami Osekun lll the Onpetu of Ijeru on the 20th year anniversary of his ascension to the throne of the Onpetu dynasty.
The O’ First Group, in a statement by its President, Oba Sunday Oyediran Lagbami Osekun lll, said the Ijeru town has in past 20 years witnessed tremendous development in all facets of social and economic life in the community and attributed this feat to the diligence, humility, godliness and unfettered access of the people to the monarch, describing him as listening Oba who is passionate about the welfare and progress of his people.
According to Sir Ademola Dare Williams, ‘ since the present Onpetu ascended the throne of his forefathers, ljeru has continued to experience peaceful coexistence, improvement in the socio economic activities of the people and establishment of new infrastrucal facilities in the health sector, amongst others.
All this, the President of O’ First said the achievements are due to the influence, connection and good naturedness of the king in his relationship with people that matter in the society, and used that rapport to bring development to y community rather than using same for personal aggrandizement
Sir Dare- Williams acknowledged the support of the Ijeru town to 0’First which enhanced e establishment of the Group’s Community Initiatives Center to fight and control menace of drugs abuse in the society.
He then prayed that God in His infinite mercy will continue to bless and endow Oba Sunday Oyediran with divine wisdom in the course of his reign as the Onpetu, and more successful years.
