O’First Group Commiserates with Victims of Explosion, Oyo Govt.

Ogbomoso First Community Initiatives, O First Group, a social-cultural group of Ogbomoso Indigenes has commisserated with Oyo state Government and Victims of the Explosion which rocked ibadan on Tuesday 16th January 2024.

The unfortunate explosion claimed 2 lives, injured over 80 people also damaged properties and valuables in the affectes area

O’First group in a statement signed by the President Sir Olusegun Adekunle, OON described the incident as devastating and unfortunate one, especially at this time when the country is still battling with Economic challenges.

As concerned Indigenes of the state, we sympathize with the victims and their families and pray that God will restore their losses and grant them quick recovery.

The Group also commended Governor Seyi Makinde, his cabinet members and other frontline workers including the security agencies and health workers for their swift response to the unexpected disaster.

While appealing to members of the public to be watchful and mindful of their environment, the group appreciated the efforts of state government and urged continued improvements in the security and safety of citizens.
