OCF Congratulates New Soun of Ogbomoso

..Commends Gov Makinde for Supporting Kingmakers and People’s Choice

A socio-cultural group, the Ogbomoso Community Foundation (OCF) has congratulated His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III on his emergence as the Soun of Ogbomoso.

According to a statement signed by a former Governor of Oyo State,Major General (Dr.) Oladayo Popoola (rtd), who is also the Leader of OCF and Chairman, Engineer Abu Salami, the emergence of Oba Olaoye will signal a new chapter of peace and development in Ogbomosoland and its environ.

The Group also commended the Oyo State governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for giving approval to the choice of the kingmakers and the people of Ogbomoso.

“Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Governor Makinde for approving the choice of the Kingmakers and the entire people of Ogbomosoland.”

“The emergence of Oba Olaoye is the will of God and the people and we know that this will signal another chapter of peaceful reign that Ogbomoso has always enjoyed under its monarchs”

The statement added that the new Soun’s tenure will further witness economic prosperity in Ogbomoso and environ.

“During his reign, Ogbomoso will experience giant development. As a successful businessman, we know his tenure will bring economic prosperity to our people as he would attract businesses that will improve the livelihood of the people”.
