The remains of Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, father of Lagos State Deputy Governor – elect, Obafemi Hamzat has been laid to rest.
Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat, Olu of Afowora died on Sunday during a brief illness
He was the leader of the famous APC caucus, Justice Forum, and father of Mufutau Hamzat, former member of the House of Representatives.
His last public outing was the conferment of a honorary doctorate degree on him by a foreign university
The deceased ‘s Son Obafemi Hamzat in his tribute to his late father said “I thank Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful for the life he lived.”
“My late father lived a fulfill life. May Allah forgive his sins and reward him with a place in jannah/heaven.”
“One of the greatest gifts a father can give his children is courage and belief in their dreams. Thank you Father for believing in ours”
Some of the dignitaries that witnessed the burial includes the National Leader of All Progressives Congress Asiwau Bola Tinubu, Lagos state governor elect, Babajide Sanwo Olu, Kola Abiola among others
