Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Tourism, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige has congratulates Oba Senator Dr Lekan Balogun on his enthronement as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland
Ige, the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland described the new Olubadan as a monarch whose reign will usher in peace and more development for ibadan, Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
The former council chairman and Minority leader of the state House of Assembly urge the new monarch to also use his office to promote culture and tradition as well as values in the society
Hon Ige also commended the state governor, Eng Seyi Makinde for they wisdom he displayed in handling the issues that would have generated controversy and crisis when the stool was vacant
“Governor Makinde’s style is not just unique but worthy of Emulation, his role in preventing crisis and promoting the cultural values is a rare display of solomonic wisdom and i pray for more of it for him
The house of reps hopeful however call for more prayer and supports for the new olubadan for sustainable development and progress od Ibadanland .
