The Oba of Lagos, Riliwanu Akiolu, has saluted the new Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Dr. Gani Adams.

Akiolu’s salutation was contained in a letter he wrote to Adams.
Adams was on January 13, 2018 installed at a grand ceremony at Durbar Stadium in ancient Oyo town in Oyo State as the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III.
The installation ceremony was witnessed by thousands of persons from all walks of life as well as broadcast live to millions of viewers.
In the letter to Adams, dated January 10, 2018, Oba Akiolu said: “I and all the Obas and Chiefs in Lagos State wish you a very successful tenure in Yoruba land and the entire Nigerians.”
