The re-elected President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Oyo State Chapter, Ayobami Olusegun Adeogun, has expressed profound appreciation to stakeholders for their unwavering support during his re-election.
In a statement, Adeogun specifically acknowledged the steadfast backing of the Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole-led Local Government Service Commission, the management team of the commission, NULGE Members and other key stakeholders.
He particularly thanked the Prince Segun Adeyemo-led Authentic Integrity Group (AIG) for their crucial efforts that ensured victory at the election held on August 6 during the Delegates Conference at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.
While extending an olive branch to opponents, Adeogun urged unity and collaboration to strengthen the union’s mission. He stated that the new administration will consolidate on the achievements of the previous regime and engender further progress.
The re-elected president pledged to uphold transparency, financial prudence, and improved welfare for all members, assuring that neither he nor his team will betray the confidence reposed in them.
