NSCDC Arrest Unlicensed Private Guards, Seal 2 Security Companies

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Oyo State Command has sealed two (2) Private Guard Companies for non-renewal of Licence
and arrest 9 security men for for illegal operation.

NSCDC Oyo State Commandant CC ISKILU AKINSANYA who dislosed this ij a statement signed by the Command’s PRO SUP Oluwole Olusegun said the affected companies as GH Security and Strongarm Security Ltd were sealed while nine(9)Guards of Blakes Security,Proactive Security and Leaders of Men Security were arrested by for illegal operation.

Speaking during a Sensitization program for all desk officers of Private Guard Company across all divisions in the state at the command Headquater Agodi Ibadan Akinsaya maintained that 9 guards have been detained for working with (3) unlicensed Private Guard Companies.

He made it known that any unrenewed licensed and unregistered Private Guard Companies are all restricted from carrying out operation because it’s unlawful ,illegal and economy sabotage.

The Commandant,later urge all residents ,Community Development Association , Companies and individual in the State to desist from patronizing unlicensed Private Guard Companies as they are liable to increase criminality in the Community .

He also enjoined the community leaders & landlords to stop patronizing maiguard or illegal guards companies but to contract licensed security outfit for safer environment and in order for NSCDC to adequately and efficiently monitor our community devoid of crime.
