Board of trustees of the New Nigeria People’s Party announces six months suspension of senator Rabiu Kwankwaso as the national leader of the party
The Secretary of the BoT, Babayo Muhammed Abdulahi who made the announcement said that Kwankwaso has been suspended for over anti-party activities.
The BoT also appointed new national officers headed by Dr Agbo Major as acting National Chairman and Comrade Ogini Olaposi as acting National Secretary with about 18 others.
Recall that the National Working Committee of the party had on Thursday, August 24, announced the suspension of the founder of the party, Dr. Boniface Aniebonam and the National Publicity Secretary, Agbo Major.
Kwakwanso who was the presidential candidate of the party had on August 15 hosted with Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Candidate , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and on the 25th met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Vila
