Prof. Sabit Olagoke, the Founder and Spiritual Head of Shafaudeen Islam Worldwide, has said Nigerians might not witness good governance without constitutional reform.

The spiritual leader  disclosed on Thursday at a press briefing held at the Shafaudeen International Headquarters, Wakajaye, Ibadan to usher in Shafau Ishrat 2021; the 23rd Walimot’l Qur’an lecture and a special prayer for the nation held at the Shafaudeen International Headquarters, Wakajaye, Ibadan

According to him, Nigerians need a government that can accommodate regional development, which can make the country experience the growth that we have always anticipate.

He said “We need the constitution reform in Nigeria, as without it, we might not witness good governance in the country. We need to go back to the constitution that accommodates regional government”

Professor Olagoke also emphasized that when our constitution is reformed, we will be able to identify our problems and there will be opportunities for Nigerians to table and as well address all the grey areas causing the agitations in and across the country with the much needed lasting solution arrived at .

He also emphasized that Nigerian regional leaders must have attitudinal changes, as many of the religion leaders posses hidden agenda which might not be known to the people. Hence, he pleaded that Nigerians must not allow people who are not representing their interest to mislead them.

He charged members of the community to promote unity through religion, culture and education, as a nation cannot grow without them.

Moreso, the founder of the Shafaudeen in Islam also stressed that Government must give the youth the right to take over peacefully, pronouncing that the youths are the future of the Nation, in the same vein the nation belongs to the youths. Thus, the older Nigerian leaders must pave way for the Nigerian youths to dominate, while the elders watch and guide them into realisations.

Furthermore, He also urged the government to sentize the youths on security, make them realise that hooligans are nothing but the enemy of the state, while saying this, he urged the government to make them job creators, equipping them materially and make them maximize their potentials like other youths of other countries.

Speaking on the programmes for the annual International conference, the founder, Shafaudeen in Islam Worldwide disclosed that the programmes which has started on Tuesday, January 5, with its opening ceremony and the 23rd Walmat’l Quran validation test ceremony to come up on Saturday, January 16 and Sunday, January 17 2021 respectively. Other programmes will also follow up respectively, till February 2, 2021, when the curtain of activities shall close.
