Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos state on Thursday reward some of its outstanding staff with Merit award and Honour some stakeholders as Fellow of the Institute.
The Award which was held at NLFV Auditorium have notable personality including Akran of Badagry, HRM De Wheno Aholu Menu Toyi I
Alapa of Egun Awori Apa Kingdom, Oba Oyekan Ajose, traditional Chief, Security Chiefs, top politicians, students among others in attendance.
The Director General, NFLV Professor Babatunde Lateef Ayeleru in his welcome address said “The purpose of The Nigeria French Language Village Merit Award is to celebrate EXCELLENCE for the services rendered to this great institution as regards the vital roles played by the major Stakeholders to sustain our core-competence as the unique institution earmarked for French Studies in Nigeria: The Nigeria French Language Village, Ajara-Badagry.”
“The Village is a melting-pot in respect of the presence of students from different cultural backgrounds and Universities, trending towards a homogenous simulating francophone environment. Currently, the Village has 812 students including over 500 University LIP students. Our programmes of activities are well loaded: academic (LIP, NCE), FSP (Modules and Diploma), socio-cultural (Quiz, Debate, Symposium, Excursions) including sports.”
