It added that the 2.5-Kilometre walk took off from the Government House Arcade, Agodi, to Total Garden roundabout and ended at the entrance of the Oyo State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.

He said: “We have just had a walk commemorating the 61st anniversary of Nigeria.

“We are a government that is very interested in sports development. So, this walk today shows how fit we are.

“I believe you can also see all the members of the cabinet present here, walking to commemorate Nigeria.

“The message on this is multiple. The first one is that Nigeria is 61 and there are a lot of things we need to be proud about, having achieved them as a nation. But there is still a lot of work to be done.
