Since it was launched four years ago, New York Build has steadily built up a loyal following of construction industry leaders, drawing in attendees because of its unique focus on New York and the surrounding Tri-State region – its first-class content, free to attend AIA Ces approved workshops, entertainment and multiple networking events.

This year’s show boasted record numbers, with 200 exhibitors, 20,500 pre-registered visitors, 100 strategic partners and 150 speakers.
New York Build 2019 is the ideal opportunity for many organizations to hear about all the latest construction projects and do business in NYC and the Tri-state region. The show remains at the forefront of the industry, showcasing the finest talent in the sector and connecting leading key players with cutting edge solutions.
Network with thousands of visitors from contractors, developers, architects, government and other construction industry professionals, meet pre-qualified buyers and keep up-to-date with the latest projects, upcoming contracts, industry standards and technologies.
In his remarks, Andrew M. Cuomo, Governor of New York State welcomed the attendees who converged at the Javits Center for the 2019 New York Build Expo. ‘’I commend the many professionals and participants who have worked hard to put together New York Build 2019, an exciting Expo that will further add to New York construction boom’’, he added.
In his opinion, Segun Akanni, The Publisher of The Drum Online Media who was at the Expo said, the Nigeria Government can key into such Expo as a way of bringing professionals from all over the world in the field of construction for the purpose of creating and suggesting new innovative ideas in the nation’s construction industry.
The recent and frequent collapse of buildings in the country has been as a result of lack of technical know-how on the part of builders – it is globally expected that before a building can be put in place, a lot of process should have been put into consideration.
Part of this should be the testing of the soil to build on; quality of materials to be used; when to use it and when not to use it. All these precautions are potential of reducing the tragedy, especially in Lagos, during the raining season.
