New AIG Visits Gov Oyetola, Promises Collaboration on Effective Policing

The new AIG Zone 11 Command, Osogbo; comprising Oyo and Osun State, AIG. Olasupo Babatunde Ajani visited the Osun State Government house to familiarize himself with the Executive Governor of the state, his management team and the good people of the State of Osun.

This was contained in a press statement signed by SP Benjamin Ayeni Zonal command Public Relation Officer.

AIG Olasupo Babatunde Ajani psc(+) said the purpose of his visit is to appreciate the Governor and the good people of the State for accommodating and supporting the Police in the State.

He promised that he, his officers and men will police with the people and not policing the people of the State.
which is in accordance with
Ag. IGP Alkali Baba Usman psc(+), NPM, fdc, policing strategy. He also promised to restore the virtues of Community Policing and build a good synergy with other security agencies to make Osun State a safe haven.

The governor of the State of Osun Alhaji Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola in his response declared that Osun State has been the most peaceful state in the whole country and this is due to the hardwork and unrelenting efforts of the Nigeria Police. He welcomed the new AIG and assures him of his support to the Nigeria Police with logistics and other necessary things when needed.

While giving vote of thanks, the Commissioner of Police Osun State Command, CP. Olawale Olokode thanked the Governor and his management team for their continued support and audience to the police.

Dignitaries at the occasion were, the Deputy Governor Mr. Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, the SSG, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, Chief of Staff Dr. Charles Akinola, Commissioner for Budget Prof. Olalekan Yinusa and other principal officers.

On the AIG’s entourage were DCP Adesina Morenikeji, DC Operations, DCP Ganiyu Salami, DC ZCID, DCP Ayoola Ajala, DC Administration, Zone 11 Headquarters, Osogbo.
