NCPC Announces ₦761, 000 as Fare for 2018 Pilgrimage

The Nigeria Christian Pilgrimage Commission (NCPC) In preparation for its 2018 general Pilgrimage exercise to Israel, Rome and Greece has announced a package cost of ₦761,000 for intending pilgrims

The Executive Secretary, NCPC Rev. Uja Tor Uja made this known in Abuja while playing host to members of the chaplaincy of the Nigeria Security and Civil defense Corps (NSCDC) led by Pastor John Enokela Paul.

Uja, stated that the Package cost will include airfare, accommodation and feeding of intending pilgrims.

The NCPC boss who called on relevant stakeholders to invest in pilgrimage reiterated the need for the Church to set a new template of prater for the country.

He expresses displeasure that the Nigeria Christian Community is not doing enough on Pilgrimage, adding that NCPC is doing everything within its reach to ensure that pilgrimage has a new direction that would take the country forward.

He therefore urge the NSCDC and other security agency to collaborate with NCPC on Pilgrimage to educate Nigerians on the dangers of abscondment and make them see beyond themselves the Executive Secretary later set up a 6 man working committee comprising both NCPC and NSCDC to work out a template for possible collaboration.

Earlier, the National Chaplain of NSCDC Pastor john Enokela Paul informed the NCPC boss that his Chaplaincy were in the Commission to partner on pilgrimage especially in the area of counseling, crowd control and security generally.

He commended Rev. Uja for his giant strides since assumption of his duty in NCPC.
